Why I Drive Trucks

This morning two men were killed when their car hit a pickup head-on. The driver of the car was trying to pass another vehicle when he apparently lost control. Icy roads are suspected to have contributed to the accident.

The men were thrown from their car and died instantly. However, by the looks of their car (below) it would appear that seatbelts would not have helped much.

The driver of the pickup (below), who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

A full-size truck with seatbelts increases the odds of surviving a high speed crash -- certainly worth the extra cost at the pump.

Ya know, if we all had full-sized pickups all accidents would look like that.
