Wacky Liberal Myth #119

Another wacky liberal bumper sticker argument that makes no sense:
"President Bush has made the United States more unsafe."
As evidenced by the numerous attacks on Americans and on U.S. soil throughout the 1990's, we have been at war with Al Qaeda for a long time. It wasn't until 9/11/2001 that we decided to fight back.

Since 9/11, there hasn't been a single attack on U.S. soil. Moreover, we have recently learned of at least ten major terrorist plots that have been thwarted by the administration – including a plot to topple the tallest building in L.A.

Exactly how has President Bush made the United States "more unsafe"?

I must admit that I am undecided about the port deal.

I have been more, what’s the word I’m looking for … engrossed, stunted, perplexed … I’m not sure how to describe it. But not about the deal itself – but the reaction by Dem leaders. Are these the same people that wouldn’t tolerate profiling of a single Muslim Sudi Arab at security gates at airports? But they are outraged that profiling of whole county didn’t take place? Does anyone take their rant about this port deal seriously? They are suddenly on the side of profiling as long as it hurts the President.

Why isn’t anyone in the mainstream media making a story out of this? I guess I already know the answer to it. The hypocrisy of the Dem leaders and the bias of MSM is just so evident in this case.
