If Government Doesn't Do It, Nobody Can

Listen to an elected liberal talk about most any issue and you will soon realize that they live in a world where all things good can only come from government. If government doesn't do it, they assume that nobody does.

The DFL have taken this reality to new heights. TCF Banks has offered to purchase the naming rights of the proposed Gopher football stadium for $35 million. That's $35 million dollars toward a $225 million dollar stadium.

DFL state senators said no. They would rather confiscate more hard earned income from the taxpayers than allow a corporation to put its name on a state-owned university ballpark.

The DFL have adopted a new motto – if the government doesn't do it, nobody can.
