Representative Kate Knuth: A Stockholder in "Contraceptives R Us"?

Today on Sick, Sad World:

Representative Kate Knuth "forgot" to tell us that today she voted against three amendments designed to temper the most ultra-liberal provisions in SF184.

She voted against:
- An amendment to require parental consent before a non-profit planned family planning center could administer contraception to anyone under 18.

- An amendment to require parental consent before a non-profit planned family planning center could administer contraception to anyone 16 and under.

- An amendment to require parental consent before a non-profit planned family planning center could administer contraception to anyone 12 and under.
After going three-for-three in this liberal trifecta (just be thankful she wasn't offered a chance to go four-for-four with an amendment addressing daycare providers handing out contraceptives), for good measure she also voted against an amendment that would prevent taxpayer funded abortions at these sites.

Seems like Representative Knuth also forgot that she ran on "our values"...this blog called her on this, as it turns out, quite accurately.

It's really quite a stunner, though perhaps this is the sort of representation you get from an unmarried 20-something.
