Who'd A Thunk, McGovern Gets One Right
I just saw an ad from Senator George McGovern on behalf of EmployeeFreedom.org. McGovern opposes the effort to take away a union employee's right vote in private. Who'd a thunk McGovern would buck a popular liberal movement. I've often said that this Democrat Party is not your father's Democrat Party. But, I didn't expect to see it leave Senator McGovern behind.

Actually McGovern has moved quite a bit to the right since becoming a private sector business owner and getting hammered by confiscatory taxation and excessive regulation. I wouldn't go as far as to say he has seen the light but at least he is aware that the switch exists.
