No comment. No linkage. No conclusion. Just hmmm...

Wednesday, November 5, the day after favorite son Barack Obama was elected president, Illinois' Evening Pick 3 lottery number was 6-6-6.

At least the lottery numbers were a random occurrence. Ironic, but random.

On the other hand, the election of Obummer was the collective result of conscious decisions of millions of voters, including the vast majority of the double-digit IQ demographic. No comment, just an observation.

Don't be cowardly. Just say what you want to say. I think many Americans would say we've lived through 8 years of hell with W and Prince of Darkness Mr. Cheney.

Mr. Anonymous #2. Care to explain the "hell" that we have endured?

After Clinton's "see no terrorist, hear no terrorist" foreign policy that gave us 9/11, we have not been attacked since. Further, there are 50 million people in Afghanistan and Iraq that no longer live under the brutal dictatorships of the Taliban and Saddam. Is this hell?

Of course, if you're sympathetic to Saddam, the Taliban, and Al Qeada, I can understand why the Bush years have been hell – and why the next four look optimistic.

What about the economic prosperity with record job growth that we enjoyed before Democrats took control of Congress in 2007 and destroyed the home mortgage industry with Fannie and Freddie. Was it hell before Democrats took Congress or since?

I'm not foolish enough to believe the false and irrational nonsense about President Bush and Vice-President Cheney that liberals in Congress, in Hollywood, and in network news have spoon fed to the politically ignorant. If you're among those who think the past 8 years have been hellish, you have my pity. A mind is a terrible thing to waste on irrational partisan hate.

If you're among those who think Obama is the Messiah, you also have my pity. First, because there is a higher power that deserves the adoration. Second, because the next four years are bound to dissapoint.

If Obama follows through with his rhetoric, we will relive the Carter years and his presidency will end in disgrace – thus proving that his Marxism fails every time its tried. Should Obama lead us out of this economic mess (that he and Chris Dodd led us into) and avoid a resurgence of terror attacks, then he will have done so by following President Bush's lead on cutting taxes and fighting terrorists in Iraq – thus proving that Bush has been right all these years. Either way, you'll be dissapointed.

Oh, about that lottery number. It's just a number and it's only worth a chuckle for the irony it represents to those who have treated Obama like the Second Coming.
