Weak Candidates + Playing Nice = Lost Elections

Ann Coulter's latest column, "The Reign of Lame Falls Mainly on McCain", pretty much nails it with regard to the last election.

One of the many pointed questions Coulter presents to think about is key:
How many times do we have to run this experiment before Republican primary voters learn that "moderate," "independent," "maverick" Republicans never win, and right-wing Republicans never lose?
I also can't say that I disagree with her parting advice:
For now, we have a new president-elect. In the spirit of reaching across the aisle, we owe it to the Democrats to show their president the exact same kind of respect and loyalty that they have shown our recent Republican president.

Starting tomorrow, if not sooner.
Click the link and read the piece. It's well worth the time and brings up a lot of questions that we need to ask of ourselves and our party if we are serious about turning around the disaster of this election as well as the abysmal one of two years ago.
