The First Sign of Hope from the Obama Era

In spite of all of the promotional hype from the "Office" of the President Elect (at least we no longer have to look at the silly sign on his podium) and his doting cheerleaders in the main stream media the Nielsen Ratings for Obama's /coronation inauguration were eclipsed by those of Ronald Reagan in 1981. The Gipper drew 41.8 million television viewers compared to 37.8 million who tuned into Obamafest.

This is especially remarkable considering the amount of active promotion by Team Obama and the vastly more sophisticated communications technology at their disposal that was not available in 1981.

In your face, libs!
