Senator Satveer Chaudhary - Fishy Ethics

Senator Satveer Chaudhary’s self-serving career building and influence brokering is even too over the top for the generally DFL cheer-leading StarTribune as evidenced by their latest coverage.

The story echoes much of what we who oppose the senator have been pointing out for years and pretty much speaks for itself. To me, the following partial paragraph from the linked story gets right to the crux of the situation:
State ethics laws place severe restrictions on gifts that legislators can accept from registered lobbyists -- even a cup of coffee and sandwich can be out of bounds. But many of the hunting and fishing groups Chaudhary deals with are populated by enthusiasts, who essentially lobby for free, unencumbered by the ethics rules for registered lobbyists.
Please take the time to read the entire story as it’s well worth it and, more importantly, remember in November.
