Tarryl Clark, Deceitocrat
The ad is a blatant attempt to scare senior citizens into thinking that the Republican candidate will take away their social security. This, too, isn't new. Scaring senior citizens is what Democrats do.
The latest ad got a 'D' from KSTP's Truth Test for misrepresenting Bachmann's statements. The ad starts with Clark's voice declaring "I'm Tarryl Clark and I approve this message". At the 22 second mark, the ad features a photo of Bachmann next to three false statements presented to look like she made them. Then it features Bachmann's voice saying "I'm Michele Bachmann and I approve this message". What? Two disclaimers from opposing candidates in the same ad?
It seems clear that the Clark campaign intended for the casual viewer to mistake this for a Bachmann ad. It also seems like a clear violation of the campaign finance law.
When it comes to Tarryl Clark, the 'D' in Democrat stands for "Deceit".
